JP, this has been a hot issue for many years now. Please make sure you have at least a few years to wait for the 'ban' time to change from 2 years to 6 months to start with. Only in the UAE are you legally allowed to change sponsors after you have worked for the sponsor for 2 years and have, according to new law, submitted your resignation - the employer cannot refuse to give you an NOC to join another company. As for Qatar... *yawn*.... but don't give up hope mate ;)

I can't wait till the day they lift NOCs... it drives me nuts having to issue NOC for virtually everything people want to do.

why do I need to know that our employee is buying a car (ok, these are no longer required), but seriously... how is it my business that one of my employees wants to take a loan??? why would we have a problem with that?

let them do what they want and save me from typing these letters before I go crazy arrgghhh

If the government doesn't 'know' about it, why should QLers 'know' about it? Care to explain?
