JP, this has been a hot issue for many years now. Please make sure you have at least a few years to wait for the 'ban' time to change from 2 years to 6 months to start with. Only in the UAE are you legally allowed to change sponsors after you have worked for the sponsor for 2 years and have, according to new law, submitted your resignation - the employer cannot refuse to give you an NOC to join another company. As for Qatar... *yawn*.... but don't give up hope mate ;)
I can't wait till the day they lift NOCs... it drives me nuts having to issue NOC for virtually everything people want to do.
why do I need to know that our employee is buying a car (ok, these are no longer required), but seriously... how is it my business that one of my employees wants to take a loan??? why would we have a problem with that?
let them do what they want and save me from typing these letters before I go crazy arrgghhh
dont know if you have looked much over government websites here, i dont speak arabic and the english versions are very much, 'work in progress', so thought it wouldnt harm to post on here, seen how it is the jungle drums, base of news and information.... clear enough for you

If the government doesn't 'know' about it, why should QLers 'know' about it? Care to explain?
