Thanks for appreciation.

Dont feel bad about me it wasn't that hard to tell the facts. I was just feeling alarmed when people get misunderstood on a simple joke.

Hope the air is cleared now and everyone can enjoy the post.

Peace:-)

I appreciate your attempt but I got you from the start and your attempt to make out like you were engaging in some intelligent social commentary is wasted, mate.

Sorry XX. but mine was a vald conclusion that you are not calm.Initially i said that because there was no reason to waste your intellignece on investigating that you cant judge a population with movies they make. I already was saying the exact same thing and i will explain why to you in a minure.

I think I need to beak down my earlier comment for you to understand:

(a)"Lot of foreigners who watch these indian action movies tend to make an 'opinion' about south asians.

Well, and they think they know a lot about us simply by watching these movies.."

Till recently Indian movies have been shown as all about unnecessary dancing sequels and over acting . For your knowlede a typical indian movie story would go like this

"Beautiful girl who is forced to love a man that she doesn't love...she falls in love with some one.... Oh and guess what shell sing about it too... And then 5 more girls start dancing with her... And her voice sounds like she's on helium.... And normally the guys are old with mustaches and the girls are like 16... Gross.... And the acting is over done and soo bad acting."

So, you see, that these type of movies give a bad impression about entire south asian cinema and its creativity.Personally i liked slumdog millionaire, salam bombay, Pyaasa, and lot of movies of Satyajit Ray, to name a few. These movies show the real creativity of our movies. And there are people who make opinions about indians/ south asians with the movies ( linked in this thread which you ruined now) meant for local audiece slap happy comedies and so called 'desi' actions.

"ex.ex.expat said Who is not calm? ...

what makes you say that?"

Because,You are just saying what i said. "Well, and they think they know a lot about us simply by watching these movies.."

I just explained why i said that. Make google your friend and search for indian movies , or you tube comments of people making fun on south asian movies.

(b)The verdict is "dont ever mess with browns"

This was meant to be taken with a sarcastic comment.NOT THE OTHER WAY YOU TOOK So, dear X.X. what i meant was if people who make generalisation of our cinema and creativity based on movies like the one linked here ( which in itself is unrealistic) should also have taken the view that we are super humans because of all these super natural actions. And if they dont take this view, isn't it an ironic situation on whic the my comment was directed to.

Native south asians will be easily understanding this sarcasm nature in my comment.

In your haste to diss me, you now look the silly boy who ruined this supposedly funny thread. Thank you.

You have a real way with people, mate. Although I am not so sure I would call you "funnyboy". More like "sillyboy" ;)

Please calm down! All that was for the sake of F.U.N. Right!

If you had the audience then the world would fear messing with Indians because of their representation in movies?

If that were effective the whole world would love Jews because of how Hollywood has played up all the WW2 films and failed to make any films showing Israelis doing the same thing to Palestinians that Nazis did to them. I guess that shows that most people can separate fiction from reality.
