Worhshop/garage for Nissan Altima
I use a Nissan Altima 2.5S but now i have a some problem with my car..maybe coming from computer system..when I drive a long distance that gear can't go to higher gear. What I do is I need to stop the engine, after I start again it become normal condition.Anybody know with my problem please answer this question or suggest the best workshop/garage for further inspection.
From my limited knowledge (he he) it sounds like the oxygen sensor has gone bust,,, the car is going into what the professionalys call limp home mode.
Take it to any computer testing car shop, they will hook up their computers and give you the real cause / read out from you on board car CPU.
All the best hope its some thing small.
You need to consult Nissan Service Shop at Industrial Area. Similar thing happened to me 2 years back while I was in Oman. The problem they told me was with fuel forwarding pump (there was a crack on the fuel forwarding pump, might have caused by hitting the car bottom while crossing road humps). But they eventually replaced even the CVT, as they were not 100% sure it was due to fuel pump(It was under warranty period, so I didn't bother)
