I've seen the hospital from outside.....its one of the biggest private hospitals in Doha with minimum patients is what i heard.....not because its bad but simply becoz its like a five star hospital....highly expensive....i think you'll have a lot of time to watch tv and explore doha:) ....mind you....this is what i heard and don't really know what the place is like. but I believe it pays well.

Hey doc...

There are quite a few indian joints here in Doha...But i've been here for the last 26 years and have seen the slow changes in opening new joints....

On an average a decent eat out experience for indian food wud cost around QAR 15 to QAR 25 and also depending upon wht u choose to eat....A normal veg thali that u get at the Garden rest. is abt that much too...

But to let u know the truth i'm actually bored with the indian food here and may be it's tht i dine out too often....i luv authentic indian food but u'll notice that some of the indian joints here have an arabic taste to it...it's definitely not "nadan" as i wud luv to call it...

Once u get here i can surely help u with the chain of restaurants that u cud try n let ur taste buds go mmmmm...

Cheers bro.

For a normal meal out of home the rate's nominal like 10 to 25QRs depending on where & what you eat....but one thing I have to caution u...do not convert the amount into indian rupees because then you'll find everything very expensive here:) Usually thats one thing most indians who come here for the first time do....

hey just tell me for an average guy having 2 eat out most of time hwo much wil cost of living come to. iam not planning2eat in 5 star hotels - average indian food .

well i am sure i will enjoy life there as life back in kerala is also monotomous so maybe a chnage for sometime.i am mentally getting ready 2 come in terms with lonliness and since u said a large indian and es malayali community is there i will catch few freinds for sure hopefully.

are u working or studying

Ummmm.....Doha is a secure and lucrative. A large indian community (majority being malayalees) is also an advantage. Don't heed my exprssion about social life because i just got back from India and its depressing to be off the hook from your country...all the parties, weddings and blah...blah...blah.....thats all. I just had a short stay and my folks are still there so am a little frustrated cause I'm so used to having them around here. Qatar's got loads and loads of malayalees....so don't worry.

In the long run life gets very monotonous here....its always better to have family around....
