Birthday party how often?
How often do you think the normal bday party for our kids? The norm here living in Doha and goes to expat school it seems that everyone having birthday party every year.
When i was a child ... birthday party only happened in certain age like 1 yr old. Then maybe 5 yrs old ...
My son been invited to other's birthday party like 2 or 3 times a week. I find it too much for me. Financially and mentally ( i hate to sit on that Mc.Donald party room with loud noises) :-) And now he is excited want to invite all kids who been inviting him for the past years.
So far i only celebrate his birthday 1 yrs old, 3 yrs old in Mc.D and last year i did it in Centre Point. Age 2 and age 4 i only send a birthday cake to his class. I did not plan to do party this year, but he been bugging me that i should make one for him.
That guilty feeling slip at the back of my mind ... i only have 1 son, and i can afford party every year. But is that the right thing to do?
Any thought from other mum out there?
