Urgent, Is this road open ?

This road is open 24 hrs a day! But avoid using this road as an alternative route from mesaieed to salwa road. It is totally dangerous highway. Coz this is the route of the heavy trucks going to MIC from salwa road (vice versa).

Even if you are a very defensive driver, think those truck drivers who drives all day long and very exhausted without 100% concentration on their mind. In short, don't go for this road just to save little time on your travel.

Yes it is open. Have passed through that road with our company driver for some time in going to work in MIC Gate 2... and each time the driver advised me never to close my eyes. With our 10 company drivers, he is the only driver who dare take the risk in passing through that road we used to call..."THE SUICIDE ROAD."

Recommended only if u are ready to take risk, you should drive with extreme care as it is single lane with speeding vehicle on both the sides.

Definitely not recomended, If you are staying within Doha City limits, you should be using the route thru Wakra. I have been through the road mentioned a couple of times, drive with extreme caution as it is a one lane track with no divider in between. The lane is usually full of trucks, trailers and other cars try to overtake. Many accidents have occured here due to the overtaking. Visibility will also be poor during dust storms, which is quite usual.

Yes, it is open. When you are in Salwa road going to KSA, follow the signs going to Messaied. You should be turning right to an overbridge a few kilometers after passing Industrial area route. This is an alternate route about 25 kms going to Messaied. Just be careful on this road since there are a lot of trucks and trailers passing by. Happy driving.
