Sponsoring wife into qatar

Knowa
By Knowa

Hi, I have recently moved to qatar, and would like for my wife to come over. I know that I have to wait 3 months before I can, but I heard that you need to have been married for 6 months. My wife and I have only been married for just over a month now, which means it won't be 6 months when I apply for her to come over. Does anyone know?

No richard000, Thats not true.

Its a rule to furnish 6 months bank statement, but immigration now a days asks for only 3 months...Again depends on your package and position.

if you will get your rp in 6 weeks, you have to wait after 6 months from the date your rp is issued before you can sponsor your wife.

I will have my RP in 6 weeks. Though, does that change anything?

the 6 months is not about the marriage, the 6 months is about your residency permit. you can only sponsor your family after 6 months your QID is finished.
