Remuneration and living costs

Hi,

I have a bcompt degree, articles and 8 years experience. Im in the process of discussing my remuneration package for a fairly new company in Doha. The position in financial operating officer. The package includes accommodation. What sort of figure should I be looking for with regards to the local market rates and with cost of living in Doha in mind?

Many thanks,

Finqat

As Tomhughes3303 said, you can get around 20k. But, it depend on the company. I have seen some guys getting even 2k for the same type of job. Cost of living is very high. Minimum Qrs. 1,500 needed for your expenses here. It can be higher depend on your need. Check the company first and then bargain ur offer if you really need the job.

Good Luck

Dear all have a chance to relocate to Qatar but would like a rough estimate on the monthly rental charge for an unfurnished 2 bedroom apartment in the Azizia or Muaither areas near to Villagio Mall.

Also is there a yearly housing tax/charge based on a %age of your yearly rental cost split by month and added to utility bills as in Dubai??

Many thanks

Marc

Thanks Tom,

So 20,000QR plus.

No mention of transport has been made so I would need to cover this myself.

How many leave days and other allowances are average in Doha?

I would say 20k+ it also depends on if they're offering transport also?
