The police department tends to be very inefficent at this time and your verification and driving test dates might get postponded.

Concern over rise in crashes:

A senior consultant at Hamad Hospital has expressed concern over the rise in the number of road crashes during Ramadan. “We see a sharp increase in the number of accidents, especially towards Iftar time,” said consultant at the Emergency Medicine Dr Muayad Kasim Khalid. “It’s like everybody wants to get home or Iftar tents at the same time, thus leading to serious crashes,” he said. “Due to lack of patience, many reckless drivers pose dangers to others.”

what is the concern here...Ramadhan or other time, if you manage to get a seat in the schools (without paying anything extra)..grab the same and get your license done ASAP. There is no point in waiting for the "right" time.....

If you are still in the initial stages of ur learning process, inside the driving school compound than Ramadan traffic is not a problem, but if u r practicing on the road with ur Instructor, in that case avoid going on the roads between 4 pm and 6 pm as that is the time when people going back to their home after day's work, the Iftar time is sunset, please take care, good luck with ur driving

....what really are your apprehensions?

Ramadan has apparently nothing to do with driving lessons....except for the instructor (if he is fasting), as he may not give a full attention and tends to be lazy. And then, the traffic on the roads becomes more dangerous during Ramadan.....may be these were your worries?
