I have a US version of Nintendo wii, however whe i bought it from one of the souqs, it is alread modified to play both NTSC ad PAL games :)

Virgin at Villagio tend to sell only PAL games. There's a store in Landmark that sells a lot of the NTSC games.

@april, you just need to make sure you buy NTSC-UC games not NTSC-J

Try Saqr or any other gaming import store that you see on the tech streets.

We brought over a Wii from the States and my daughter unfortunately spent her birthday money buying a game that is for the PAL system.  We assumed that all the games here would be the same.

Can you tell me which stores might carry the NTSC version games?

Yes it will work. Just plug it into your TV.

But when you buy games over here, be careful. Some games are in the European format(PAL), and others are in US/Japan format(NTSC). Both formats are readily available, but not compatible.
