Buy a HONDA they are the only ones in Qatar good at servicing cars and looking after the customer, cars cost a little more but hold their value better than most, hope this helps

It is very simple.. decide on which car you want to buy, go to the dealer, the salesman will have contacts with the bank, and you can arrange everything through the dealer..

insurance : it will be 4 % of sale price..maybe through the dealer , you can get it for less..

the official paperwork, it is mostly in arabic, the dealer will take car of it.. you will get the car registered and with the number plate..

the dealer might ask you for documents like salary certificate, letter from your sponser, id copy etc..

if you do not want the dealer to get the bank loan for you, and you have another bank in mind, get the quotation from the dealer, go to the bank, give the required documents ,they will give you an LPO for the amount specified in the quotation, give it back to the dealer, and the deal is over..just pick up the car from the dealer, and enjoy..

try negotiating with the dealer, as car sales are less nowadays, and you can bargain for a better discount..keep your eyes open that the dealer dos not cheat you regarding accessories, life time warranty etc..

Hi. I just want to give you a quick response because I been in a car showroom yesterday. First of all I just want to tell you about the advertisemnets appearing theses days in news papers, are all bull shitssss. They just want to lure prospective buyers in to their shops and cleverly trap into their nets.

I was offered a car on installments which the news paper say Qrs.2,515 as monthly installment. Their display on the car in the showroom also says the same amount. When talked to the sales executive, he worked out the actual amount that becomes 50% more than what they offer in news paper (3,750 that for 48 months). Their interest rate is 7.25%. This is an example I just wanted to tell you about the price.

The other things like documentation, you have to provide them with your salary certificate, bank statement for the last 6 months period. Your ID copy, drivers licence copy, blank PD cheques, etc.

Good luck
