Mashreqbank..sorry for repeating

Hello all. I know banks in Qatar have been discussed before but you see I am in the process of opening a bank account in Qatar, and my freind who I have known for a long time now was fired from Mashreqbank last year, he said it had somthing to do with many fraud cases discovered in the retail business there. I didnt beleive this at first but then I came across this..http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mashreq_Bank
and under History it mentions this, then other people also told me about this case, so, since I am sort of new to Qatar can anyone tell me if this is true? Did Mashreqbank fire alot of staff after discovering many of its sales employees forging documents? It would really help to know the truth and not somthing sugar coated as I dont want to end up entrusting my money to an untrustworthy bank. Thank you all.
