Hi,
I am currently in Doha-Qatar and I found this is really excellent place to live and work .But at the moment I came alone while I have family behind so what would be the avg salary to live in Qatar with family. Wife and 2 Kids aged 5 and 2!
Your comment and expereince really matters for me and will lead me to make decission to sign contract or not.
I am business graduate and also having some IT certification and work exp around 7 years so far in versatile industries major in Sales, Consultancy and Business Development. Having Pakistani Passport.
Regards & Prays!
Nauman.
You are dreaming, acha. A "decent 2-bedroom house" (?) will at least cost 8,000 Riyals. If you have one for 4,000 kindly let me know where.
Nauman: You will find a decent two-bedroom house around 4000 Qatari riyals. Add another QR 1000 for your household expenses including utilities. You may want to put your first kid in a Pakistani school and for that you will need QR 700. These will be your basic expenses. You need to keep another 1000 for your miscellaneous expenses including transport. If you need further information PM me your phone number and we could chat.
MM why so many reprots??
Leave the Taxi and take a Tuk Tuk to work.
Eat cheaply at Rizks' Emporium
There are many other tips on expenditure reduction ............. we can discuss here ............. ................... .................
MM: What about those hosts? they're losing double on weekends
People save money by visiting their friends , colleagues & distance relatives and neighbours on Thursdays & Fridays , so 8 days they skip their home breakfast & have their lunch & dinner there means others's homes , this is clear cut saving of more than 25 % on food , electricity bills etc .............................................
Hi Nauman,
15k to 20k QAR would be sufficient for your family inclusive of everything.
All d best.
P.S Don't forget to confirm that there is annual ticket for you and your family!
a standard accommodation 2BHK flat won't cost you less than 6-6.5k (Ask for company accommodation, you'll get what you want and they'll just deduct your housing allowance, which is mostly not enough)
add around 1000 for utilities (Internet, Electricity/Water)
2-2.5k minimum for grocery (depend upon you also)
if you've company provided car, (then you'll save money on taxi)
You can bet something around 17-20k! But that is what I think, maybe you deserve more depend upon the field you're working in!
