Mods,Certainly not intentional.. The system did not respond when I tried posting first.
1. Can I go for an inspection before the expiry of isthemara as it is most convenient for me to go on a weekend - of course you have to go before the expiry. 2. Is there a system of getting an appointment for the inspection? - best is to wait in the queue. hardly take 30 mins. 3. If there are technical comments, how much time do I have to set these right? - istimara is valid till 1 month after expiry. then on QR 1500 fine. 4. Would I have to pay a fee for re-inspection after fixing any issues - No. the money u paid is valid for 1 month. you get the second inspection free. 5. There is a small crack on my right fender and I have no idea when it came about (might be in some parking area); can this be a case for rejection - might be. once you get your car inspected and if they mention that as one of the point for rejection, speak to the police officer sitting in the inspection office. he can sign it for you and your istmara can be renewed without fixng the problem.
