How Far?

Hi all, am doing some reserch and hope you can help.
My potential employer is situated on Asia Street, which I believe to be the West Bay area. I understand there are several new apartment buildings there but the facilities and amenities are nothing like the central area in the vicinity of the Corniche.
How far is the West Bay area from the Corniche (is it called the Al Saad area?) because I might want to look for accommodation in that area if West Bay is not well supported by amenities as I have a wife and young child. Secondly, would 16,000rials get me a good 3bedroom apartment in this area?

How long has it been 20km from the corniche?
I remember now. The place I read about is called Al Jazi. Is that area good for families and near to amenities? I think my family would rather be near the city centre.

Cornich is far away from West bay area around 10 Km , which is around 10 min by car .
west bay area is different than sad area . sad area location like center of doha ,
sad area is far away from cornish by 20 km , it takes around 15 to 20 min by car .
you can get flat in sad area with 10000 qr . in west bay is expensive may be 15000 qr
