my aunt is working in qatar for almost a decade. she said she'll assist me in working for the same company she work for (Accounting dept.-i assumed). but later she ask me if its okay if i go there for cleaning jobs with 1ooo riyal as salary for two years and transfer me to other department whenever possible. visa is ready but haven't receive or seen it (am I suppose to?).my father wants me to go then find another suitable job for me in other company if my aunt can't really help me (would there be a problem with that?).

BS Accountancy, Valedictorian...you didn't go thru with all of those just to clean somebody else's mess. I agree w/ your Father, you must find another suitable job. QR 1,000 is not worth really.

Dude, we are not hear to find you a job. It would not be easy due to your limitted experience. hwoever working for 1000 QAR would not make sense.. .and it would not be easy to get another job with 2 years of cleaning experience... dont ruin your life.. .either tell your aunt to get you a real job.. or work wherever you come from .... better work according to you profession and get less money than work in a dead end job and get as little or marginally more money.. besides you will never find another job working as a cleaner... dont' be silly... find something in line with your qualifications.

If you can get a business visa, that would be better because you can apply yourself when you arrive in Qatar.

I’m a BS Accountancy graduate, Career Service Professional Eligible, Valedictorian in High School (if its still counted). I only had almost one year experience in bookkeeping including internship in a bank.thanks a lot. I been surfing this site and I just found out that 1k is unreasonable. Hope I can convince my father..

If you are educated to a bachelor level or diploma , never accept such crappy jobs like that. I can't believe your aunt offered you that. It's horrible, trust me. And even if you got here, it's somewhat hard to switch you employer.

Tell us more about your qualifications and I'll try to give you some useful links.

it's different here. you can't just change jobs as your employer will need to issue a no objection certificate to let you move to another company. many employers don't issue them, very few do.

you can earn that much money if you stay in the philippines. 1000 riyals is not worth it

Think before you accept the offer of your aunt, the salary is way too low and not related to your job and 2 years is very long for you to suffer. Why can't you look for other opportunity. Good luck !
