driving test without joining school

pls advice me if my cousin can take a driving test without joining a driving school. he has been a driver in india and he feels confident of clearing the test with little training.

If he has a valid driving license from another country than it will be allowed but it is dependant on the school policy. I had gone to the driving school in Madinat Khalifa in 2007 and they allowed me to appear without taking the classes. I know that the Karwa school does not allow.

Can be appeared the test without joining the driving school. But to be submitted all relevant documents like opthalmology test for the eye sight and should have RP and NOC from the company or sponsor.
There's no restrictions from the department.

This is possible but needs an approval from the traffic department head (Captain). I had my direct road test exam and never joined any school in doha. I just showed them my professional drivers license in Philippines.
