Compound near Fereej Bin Mahmoud Street?

Hi all. Moving with husband and baby in January 2014.

My husbands offices are on Fereej Bin Mahmoud Street. Looking at google maps I can see a couple of villa compounds close by - mirage, garden city. Does anyone have any recommendations? I've been told to try to go somewhere near my husbands work as commuting isn't fun, however having a baby and being a first time expat I want it to be nice, safe, clean etc. Any specific compounds recommended or any to avoid?
No need for property companies to respond. My husbands work organise everything. I just want to know where to ask for or indeed refuse.

Thank you.

in the Salwa Road/C Ring intersection (opposite Radisson Blu) is really nice, but most likely difficult to get into, unless your husbands company has direct access.

Al Fardan Garden compound on D ring road. Best one in the area.

There are not many compounds in the Bind Mahmoud area, as it is an old city and congested area. However you can have more choices if you search the Areas of Fariq Al Nasr and Al Sadd, both locate opposite Bin Mahmoud and offering many conveniences like food, shopping, security, cleanliness etc. Both these areas are considered posh in Doha.

Just have a drive by round of these two areas in the evening and you shall find so many telephone numbers displayed at the compounds/luxury apartments for direct contact.
