I'll be relocating soon from the Cayman Islands. I wanted to bring my Blackberry phone with me. They have told me here in Cayman that i can 'unlock' the phone to be able to bring it to another country but was not sure the Doha local phone company supported Blackberry. Can anyone help?

There are Blackberrys that work in Doha. As pointed out by KellysHeroes you need it to be GSM-compatible.

Blackberry has no dealer in Doha to my knowledge. Had the same problem with Treo.
All you need in unlocked GSM with 900/1800 frequency.
No its not setup here, I brought my blackberry from Canada and its not working.
