Can be done, by using a "sling box" see link below, basically you need soemone with a receiver box in UK (Sky / Virgin) & broadband connection, 1 bit of the sling box goes that end.

Your end you have broadband connection here / PC, sling box kit this end to the TV, you can even use the same sky + box here I understand allowing you to record progs etc, about £100 all in, or there abouts.

Showtime has Eastenders, Coronation Street & Emerdale. They're a few months behind the UK I think

Eastenders and Corrie are here on Showtime, I don't watch them so I don't know how far behind they are.

Mozaic seems to be popular at the moment, though I go for Showtime _ it has UK programmes but is mostly US shows.

It comes with BBC Prime and BBC Lifestyle.

It will cost about 800quid a year for one of the better packages

thanks, guess i will have to find another way of catching up on fave uk tv, although i'm sure there will be lots of other things to enjoy, but well some programmes i will miss :(
