Anyone With Knowledge of the JBK Compound?

We have the opportunity to move into a villa in the JBK compound, but have no first-hand knowledge of it. I've never heard of it before yesterday truthfully! I understand that it's an older compound, but that the villas are supposedly nice.
Does anyone know anything about the facilities, the service, etc.? I'd appreciate any opinions - good or bad. Thanks.

I live in JBK compound. I can describe it as quiet and well-maintained. The facilities at the clubhouse are great too.
The best thing is that the petrol station just right next to it has a McDonald's, Baskin Robbins, Sbarro and a coffee shop. It's a great location actually.
Hope you consider moving so we can be neighbors! ;)
Actually, Donald-duc, we haven't moved in. We are in a stand-alone villa now and like it, but thought it might be better for our kids to be in a compound. This is just one I'd never heard of, but which my husband's company has a property in.
It is sounding good from all the other comments. I'm off to try to find it and drive through to take a look around. Hopefully the housing coordinator will get us in to look at it soon.
How much is the rental?
I am assuming the JBK villa by the midmac R/A. It is one of the good places to stay. Villa's dont come like that any more. All on ground floor, big garden and nice club house.
I think the other guy who answered it was like "sour grapes!!"
An outsider view; I used the club facilities sometime for my kide to play TT, Tennis and swimming pool facilities at JBK compounds and found always very quiet and seen many families chatting around...seems to be a good move!
nice .. jbk villas are kind of old .. but very good compared to the other compounds i've seen ! facilities are good too .. heh a lot of restrictions too .. like sound ! ... the people in the compound are very friendly too ! Go for it .. I heard they had some free gas or some other option >>rumor ... Good Luck !
