hi all,

i'm having a Ford Edge (bought just 2 weeks back) and i'm new comer to Doha also. I'm interested drive over sand dunes at Umm Said area. I was using a off road vehicle with 100% manual transmisstion in my home country. I don't have any experience with an automatic transmisstion AWD vechile over sand dunes. Anybody pls advice me.

I dont think it is advisable to go without past experience..it can be dangerous with Ford AWD.

Also is ur car covered for off road insurance, otherwise any damage it wont cover under normal insurance.

actually i have experience on MUD with my previous 4x4 (with manual transmission). i don't have exp with AWD automatic transmission and on sand. anybody is having experience with the vehicle FORD EDGE

i dont encourge u to drive over sand if u dont have any previous experienxe in qatar sand dune..

keep ur car.. always be careful..
