The fashion industry is still in its infancy with many designers working directly with tailors and artisans to create products. Currently, there are no big fashion houses in Qatar. Although the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), a top design school in this region, is located in Education City, there is no/little home-grown fashion industry here. VCU is currently helping students find more design themed careers.
It may be good to network with VCU or expand your career path to other design-type jobs like marketing, graphic design, interior design, public relations, website design, etc.
