I will agree to the airport in manila is the most disgusting place or airport you can go to, even if you have just to transit. it is hell. the corruption in the Philippines. is the reason for why it is like that there.

a country with more criminals employed in a government is not to be found anywhere else in the world. only it can be found in Africa something that is similar to manila.

then I will say. here in Doha. with the money and the brain they claim they have. I just wonder how it can be that they still have to bring people to and from the planes, in a stinking bus. I heard that the reason why the new terminal is not yet in use is because some idiot construction company had made speed bumps for the planes on the taxi road. !!! safety first ha ha ha ha what a joke. in this country there is no one from India schrilanka Bangladesh Nepal and specially Qatar. that knows anything about safety. look around you. the way the traffic goes. the infrastructure, the road system, the stupid yellow light in the signals in the roundabouts. the warning system they have for road work, safety for the road workers etc. look at the speed cameras the cameras at the signals. they are not there for safety they are there to make money. nothing else. look at the Qataris and others as well, they brake when they pass the camera, and then they drive like what they are again after they pas the cameras. IDIOTS. safety in Qatar its a joke. and like the government in the Philippines. useless.

i think i'm the only person on earth who actually likes naia terminal 1. it had its day but it's handling much more than it was originally created for. it is of course in a terrible state now but it still offers a glimpse of its former grandeur so long as the ceiling doesn't fall on you. i like the lobby at the departure area and its high ceiling with frames of narra wood and floors made of marble. it was designed by the late leandro locsin, a national artist who also designed my favorite church.

best of all, at least i won't have to get on a bus and climb the tarmac with my carry on luggage in extreme heat.

Whenever i arrived to NAIA, i make sure to remove all the tags of my luggage and move from arrival to departure area.. My face should look all tired, disappointed and sad, acting like i missed my flight so the taxi's won't see me as potential victim..

Most taxi drivers plying their trade at airports are dishonest.

What a wonderful achievement..!!! Great..!!! so they won the award again... Mabuhay!!! welcome to the gates of hell via NAIA1... Reviews posted on the site mentioned "dilapidated facilities", dishonest airport workers -- particularly taxi drivers -- long waiting times and rude officials including the smelly toilets, cramped seats and antic and dilapidated buildings
