Where is all the Cheese?

Cheese may not have wheels but it can travel so why o I have to eat rubbish plasticky rubbish at 30 QR a gram?

And Meat.... The cold meats here are without exception disgusting. I DO NOT WANT, LIKE, ENJOY or indeed EAT Mortadella. It is reserved for the elderly who have little energy for chewing and a senile disregard for taste or flavour.

I demand a deli....now

And the options are even more limited now with the boycott in place.

The only palatable deli meat that I've found here has been at The Centre, and yes it is usually very expensive when you can find it.

Another complaint I have is that everything is smoked. Why is it so hard to supply something as simple as roasted turkey, or simply roast beef?

SkyBlue , r you French ? lol :)

I agree with you, if you want THAT cheese , is not so easy.

Even Carrefour - french market - doesn't have too many options...

And the few options are very expensive...

Well put SkyBlue. I was thinking that we need a deli only yesterday.

Also can someone answer the troubling question of why each supermarket dedicates a whole aisle of shelf space to instant jelly and creme caramel?

I couldn't agree more. An errudite and well constructed topic point.
