What to Bring......Advice, please!

By brandonmoseley •
Alright, it is time to pack and I have realized that I have more than I am able to bring on my move to Qatar.
Could you all please give me an idea of what items I will be able to buy cheaper in Qatar than I would be able to in the USA?
Jeans, Tennis Shoes, Dress Shoes, Dress Shirts, Ties, Slacks, colognes and anything else that you think I would be better off bringing along or leaving out because it can be bought cheaply upon arrival.
Thanks in advance for the help!
everything is obviously more expensive in Qatar..except of petrol, which is cheaper then water..
.. bring some sushi for me pls.. here sushi about twice as expensive...
yeah.. and selection is limited on everything, including services and girls (NOT girl's services, but services and girls!)...
and books! They are expensive here, and the selection is limited.
There're less recreational things around here...

Clothes are kind expensive here...
Everything else is about normal price...
I would concentrate on clothes...
You can't teach experience
5 years living in Brazil and Puerto Rico has taught me a LOT of that.....A LOOOOOT
The advice about dress clothes was helpful--anything else that is obviously more expensive in Qatar?
Example: Tennis shoes in Brazil are assininely priced but dress shoes are quite reasonable. Things like that will help me a ton!
Thanks guys and gals for the help.
oh and bring lots and lots of patience, youll need it...
Bring your NOC!
Bring the items that you absolutely cannot live without, everything else you can buy here...
coming from the US... nice clothes are cheaper there! And if you're a bigger guy, you'll have a bit of difficulty finding clothes in your size here. so bring plenty of clothes.
