Video: Football Fan Zone in Katara - Journey to Amazing
The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy opened a Fan Zone in Katara, Doha for football fans across Qatar and the region. Fans and families will be able to watch FIFA World Cup 2014 live from 28th June onwards.
The fan zone was built to allow fans to experience the new innovative cooling technology that Qatar is developing, in another important step on the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy's journey to delivering an amazing tournament in 2022.
The Brazil 2014 Fan Zone will feature every live match from the second round all the way to the final. Sixteen live matches will be shown on giant HD screens and the latest surround sound technology, enabling thousands of fans to share in what promises to be a truly amazing celebration of international football.
The Brazil 2014 Fan Zone at Katara has been specifically designed to provide a safe, fun and family-friendly atmosphere. It will feature live entertainment between matches and a range of activities to entertain the entire family throughout.
The fan zone will open two hours prior to the kick-off time of the first match, and closes an hour after the second match has finished.

The Brazil 2014 Fan Zone is being delivered in conjunction with a number of key sponsors who are celebrating the event and providing key support for Brazil 2014 Fan Zone, including: KIA, the W Doha Hotel & Residence, who will be operating the concession stands, Qatar Tourism Authority and Qmedia.
