DesertMan2010_ Thanks for the tip... I will check them out. I am thinking 5 years is a maximum... I know my way around cars pretty well... family of mechanics and carpenters...
5 Years old is pretty old for a car in Qatar. Bad roads, off roads, beach driving wears them out pretty quickly. Good news is cars are pretty cheap in Qatar - you should have no problem. As for what to do, you have two options:
1) Major shopping centers have board where people advertise their cars.
2) If you want the easy way, look up alBascil Car Dealership on the famous Salwa road. One of the very few - if not the only one - who will have English-speaking people to help you. Their cars are almost always pretty new. Prices seem average.
