1. GIS Analyst - March 2004 to Mar 2008 - R.M.S. INDIA (An Associate Concern of RMS Inc., USA).

RMSI's solutions are built around map data creation, custom software development, spatial data engineering and risk engineering analysis.
Experience Summary at RMS –INDIA:
a) Micro Watershed (AbIC) Development Plan for Ministry of Agriculture -India
This project involves the design and building and proper planning of all major parameters for a Micro Level planning for a Watershed Development and Implementation, the plan was appreciated and was implemented for a project in North Bihar (Micro watershed in the Sone Catchment).
b) Worked with team of experts on an Indian Government National Project "Technology Mission for Ground water" the project goal was to prepare groundwater potential map. Prepared Geological and Hydro-geological maps using satellite data from Landsat-5 TM, IRAS-IA and SPOT.
c) Vulnerability Study of Pollution upon Shallow Groundwater using Drastic/GIS (2005)
A well-established standardized model, the DRASTIC system relies on seven hydro-geologic settings: Depth of water, annual Recharge, Aquifer media, Soil media, Topography, vadose zone Impact and hydraulic Conductivity. RMSI successfully used the DRASTIC method in the Ranchi district of Jharkhand state of India to create pollution vulnerability maps, and to analyze cost/benefit ratios relating to development.
In this project, pollution index and maps were prepared which can be used by both public and private organizations to gauge susceptibility to groundwater pollution in the area, and to encourage economic development in those areas less vulnerable to groundwater pollution.

d) Preparation of 3D Model for Ranchi MNC (2007-08)
In this project a framework for 3D digital city has been prepared as a social information infrastructure for urban life (including shopping, business, transportation, and education). The proposed architecture for digital cities includes:
- City mapping (integrates both data archives and real-time sensory information)
- Digital City Model (DCM)
- Value added services
- Surveying
- Integration of field updates.
These models are also useful for multifarious applications such as transportation management and planning, disaster management and micro telecommunication network planning.
