Stopover in Doha....Any visa?
By lost_inlover •
Hello guys...One of my friend is going to visit Japan. She is american. Her flight: Usa-japan stay for one week then she plan to visit egypt for one week. It would be Japan-Cairo.
The prob. is she have 13hrs stopover in doha. Before her nxt flight to egypt. Can she go out sightsee doha?...Does she need visa to get out frm the airport? Whats the process?..
I would really appreciate any info. Thanks
I dont think there's age limit. But being a single traveller isn't a problem. My sister been in qatar twice she dont have any problem about getting visa on arrival and also being a single woman.
But it was last year. I dunno about now.
She can get a visa on arrival... but I am just wondering if there are any age limitations for single ladies... am not sure... you may want to check that with the Embassy...
Yes.............for americans anything is possible in this world. U can take her u will be getting on arival visa...but make sure she has to report 3 hrs before her flight..........
Qatar airways should provide the transit visa and hotel accommodation.
Yes, she is american citizen and flying with Qatar airways. About transit visa. U mean the qatar airline will give her the visa or she still need to fall inline to ge the visa at the arrival?
Thanks to all of you guys..
If they have an American passport they can get a visit visa on arrival for 100QR ($27USD). You can also get a taxi at the airport to do some siteseeing, but they need to make sure they get back to the airport in plenty of time so they don't get stuck here.
I agree with Piet only there is a certain fee to be paid at the airport in getting such visa.
If she is American she can get a visa on arrival. Also transit visas is available when flying with Qatarair.
