From today's Gulf Times:

THE Q-Post has announced the working hours during Eid al-Fitr holidays for its main office and branch offices.

On the first and second days of Eid besides the General Post Office (West Bay), the branches at Mumtaz Post, Teyseer Post office, Lulu Hypermarket, North Khalifa Town, Traffic Post office, Abdul Azeez Al Ahmed Street, Al Rayyan, Al Khor, Al Khor, Khartiyat, Al Mirghab, Mansoura, Industrial Area and Al Aziziya will remain closed.

On other Eid days, they have different timings, which are given as follows.

The General Post office will work from 8.30 to 11.30am. The Mumtaz Post, QPP, Teyseer branches will work between 8 and 11am and 4 and 7pm, the branch at Lulu Hypermarket from 9 to 2 noon and from 4.30 and 7.30pm, North Khalifa Town (8 to 12 noon).

The offices at Abdul Aziz Al Ahmed Street, Al Rayyan, Al Khor, Al Khartiyat, Al Mirghab, Al Mansoura, Industrial Area and Al Aziziya between 8.30 and 11.30am, and 4.30 and 7.30pm.

All other post offices, which would remain closed on the first two days, will function between 8.30am and 10 30am.

The branches at Umm Bab, University (girls), Khalifa Town (North), Qatar Foundation and Umm Salal Ali will not function during the Eid holidays.

Holders of boxes at GPO could collect their mail on all Eid holidays except the first day of Eid, from 7am to 10pm.
