Hi everybody,

I am travelling to Qatar for a period of 6 months stay in Doha. Wanted to know the important things to carry before coming to Qatar by which some amount of money can be saved. I can carry (20+7)kgs of luggage onboard. If anybody shares the checklist/packing list would be great.

Please suggest.

Thanks,
Gajanan

Bring some medicines as it is quite expensive. And for the first month you can bring some provision like soaps, hair oil, toothpaste and any spices which you like in your food. This may cut down your expenses for the first month. Try to cut your hair very short as hair cuts cost nearly Rs250/- per cut. Bring shoes, chappals & socks for the first use. Bring some snack item for tea for the first month.

But the last advise from my side is the more the miser you be the more you loose in something else. So don't be under so much pressure of saving enjoy your life from the first day as all the things are available here.

Take care and welcome to Qatar
