HELLO,
Can anyone help me about this,im filipina,christian and i was married b4 im separated for 4 yrs,and i met this muslim arab,we have relation for about 2 years,now we decided to get married but we dont know what to do..if anyone have an idea pls.help us.thank you
Mac, that's the point, she's separated, not divorced or widowed! Separated is still married - there isn't divorce in the Philippines. So she cannot marry again because she would have 2 living husbands. Understand now?
before you can get married, you will need to get an CENOMAR ( certificate of no marriage ) and if you are still married in your country and your marriage is not yet legally dissolved, then it is impossible to get a CENOMAR legally.

offcours as a Filipino they require different paper from you
first: if you are divorced or ( single ) you have to get a non marriage certificate from Philippine stamped and attested , when you have that all here is easy
you and him can go to the court or to the guy embassy , but with out that paper no need you cant

Mandilulur what are you talking about? A woman can get married again in Islam, if she is divorced or widowed.

Of course you cannot get married, you are already married! It's not legal in Islam for a woman to have two husbands.

Just be clear, make sure you have the consent of the Arabs first wife and children , because this is a very common situation here and the second wife usually bears the brunt if the first wife comes to know, so be sure about this.
Regarding marriage, if you intend to get married on mosque, get converted to Muslim first and then the rest your boy friend will figure just by asking around, make sure this is not the reason he gives to delay this marriage,
