Hey all;

I got an offer to work in Qatar as an IT security consultant for 15K/4000$ a month package (housing is on me), do you think it is enough, I mean does it worth it or not!

What's more; I was wondering how much does it coat to live in a studio (alone) one bed room and a path room, toilet, kitchen, furnished, has a satellite as well in a decent area?

I'm also wondering about Korean cars cost (Hyundai Cope 2.7/2.0) for instance, how much will the monthly installments will be around?

Malimohsin: please use above table posted by me if you want to shift your family here. It's very easy to calculate. It is purly depending upon you to choose your life style here. I met one guy couple of months ago talking about shifting his family here with salary of 7500 QR without housing allowance.  So....here you will find people managing their livelihood with 8-10K without housing allowance and there are people living in villa and spending 20,000K monthly rent (or their company might be spending it for them).

In short...If you want to stay alone then you can curtail down your expenses. If not...... then choose your life style to match with your income. You didn't mentioned about position offered, other benefits like children education, medical facilities, annual return ticket for family etc.

Dear 'One Guy Living' West Bay area is not for the people working in Middle Management or below that. Housing rents are very high so there is no point in mentioning rents of such areas.
