Hi,

I would really like to know how it is to live in Doha.
What are the means of socializing. How do people travel.
How good is the public transport. How easy it is for woman to find jobs in corporate sectors. How is the work-life balance there. Aaah! my questions are never ending.
I want to know all of this before me and my husband decide to move to Doha.

Cheers

If your adaptability quotient is good it is pretty cool to live here....just dont expect amazing. Socialising is again pretty much the same as in India, though options are limited.

If one can afford a car generally people use it as their mode of travel. Public Taxis may be a pain but then their are private car owners who use them as a taxi and are easy to find. Buses are there but am not sure about them.

Jobs for women, again not well versed so cant help you, but there are some very good and well informed people here on this site, hope they see your query and respond.

Work life balance is anyday better than India as pressures at work by and large is very much in control.

All the best!!!
