About the sim card you can buy it again to any Qtel shop worth 50Qr with the same number that you have lost. regarding on your handset, report it to the police but it will take maximun 2 months to recover your lost phone if that unit is still here in Qatar.

I am sure it is. Go to the nearest customer service center with the serial number. They should be able to tell you whereabout of your phone. its very easy now a days.

you should report this to the police, just in case somebody who found it would use it in illegal ways, and maybe they can trace it for you. bring the receipt with the IMEI number if you have one just in case they look for it.

Do you mean the IMEI? If that is what you mean, then the most you can do is ask Qtel/Vphone to BLOCK that handset for you. This means that nobody else can use it.

If you go to police, then police can force Qtel/Vphone to handover the phone number and other details of the person who is using it now... if someone else is using it. BUT it is unlikely that the police will go to such lengths in order to try and recover a handset. :-(

Good luck.

Try to report it on police station, they might help you locate the phone... Specially serial number is with you....
