I have couple of job offers with me, one in Qatar with 18500 QR, and the other one in Oman with 1600 OR. both without Accommodation. Kindly suggest which one will be best to choose considering the cost of living and saving more, both these jobs are of similar profile.

Oman there is a problem in accomadation not that its costy its not available, plus if u live in Muscat there is not much to do.. they have 2 malls... but u can go to Salal which is 6 hours flight from muscat ... if u r planning to live in Madinet Al Sultan then u will enjoy it so much its an amazing area .. if u r lucky enough to find accomadation .. plus its expensive in tht area...

as for Doha the accomadation is expensive, the cost of living is costy as well.. but there is a little more to do than Oman .. u have resturants, cafes, malls ..

so its up to u ..

if u have the chance to visit both countries before u decide it will be better.. Good Luck

Oman:

- Lower rental rates.

- Less cost of living.

- People are modest.

- Untouched beaches... quiet cities.

- Larger city.

- Muscat is ~400 KM from Dubai (holidays).

- No high buildings.

Qatar:

- Busy life.

- High cost of living.

- higher rental rates.

- Doha is small city.. will get bored quickly.

- City center is full of skyscrapers.

Good luck!

your salary offer is appropriate if you're single inclusive with housing accommodation, transport, etc. nonetheless, but if you will bring your family here in doha, these amount is not enough to sustain your daily expenses especially if you have kids that go to school.try to negotiate and demand for a higher pay that will compensate to your needs.Good luck..
