How would Qatar look with lots of trees and plantation? Would it change/affect the environment for good/bad? how would the local people feel about this?

1. Qatar would look DAMN beautiful with lots of tress and plantations..

2. Of course, it will change the environment of QATAR for a while..May be, we could experience the heaviest RAINFALL here then...lol

3. Well LOCALS would obviously feel good about it if any expatriate would make his/her effort to make their country green and shiner...lol

Obviously it would look great but it takes too much care and money to keep up these kinds of environments in this climate. Go to some of the newer (expensive) areas of Doha, you'll find lots of trees, grass and green areas.
