Dear Buddies!

I'm a recent graduate and single. I got an offer with Gulf Supplies & Commercial Services as a translator. They offer 5500 QR
Accomodation is company provided, transport from and to office is company provided.
Is it a good offer? will I be able to save anything? if so how much?

Thanks in advance.

yes definitely u can. around 2000 riyal might be. for a single who's given a room & transport, 2000 riyal per month should suit u for food & take a walk around city on the weekend. if u cook ur own meal, it could be less than that. when I'm still in bachelor status for 6 months, that much only I spend monthly. so u still have 3500 (not mention overtime pay). spare 1000-1500 for your luxurious life like buying tv, cell phone, fashion etc etc. or, to be more extreme, u can buy used car under bank loan for 1000-1200/m (not recommended of course). just make up ur mind to save 2000 every month. what do u think :-)

For a single and fresh grad like you, i think, the offer is just fine. Regarding savings, well, it's up to what your lifestyle is. Goodluck.

No, if you want to live, you will save a single dime, You will have to borrow to survive. But if you want to exist only, yes you might be able to save something.
