If you are getting 16L PA in India, then better think as other mentioned above. If you need same life like India, then you will end up of spending all of your salary. ( If company covering education,medical and yearly family ticket) then also you need 10K minimum for normal middle class life. As other mentioned here, job risk is there then getting job back in India will be cumbersome. Think well and decide accordingly.

My personnel opinion,If satisfied with the salary your getting there.And if you are comfortable.Don't try coming here.

But if don't,I strongly suggest to come here. so first you come here and check for the minimum duration of years mentioned in contract and work here if unsatisfied you go back,if satisfied you bring your family here AND ENJOY THE LIFE .

16.5K is less for you.

I think your indian salary is very good and i recommand to stay back. Every one in this world do not get jobs in good/big companies like my friend gets, you know the ratio of available candidates is very big. If you find one than think.

This offer of 16.5K is same as that of indian & you have to make your own accomodation which shall cost minimum Qr.5000/- pm, its your wish to choose . . .

Ya! you can enjoy some time here with a multi-national culture at work and around with family, these will be the benifits. But remember Qatar in particular apart from other GCC countries is full of politics at work place.

If you are looking only for financial benefits, it may be a good idea for the time being depends your current situation..! But, I may suggest stay in India, where you can ever enjoy your friends, family, events, freedom,... that will worth more than that of the additional 10lakhs u may earn here in Qatar..! Opt, if its a govt. organization with attractive terms.

the balance is your saving, but i suggest yoy request for housing allowance/or a Furnished House , which is a major expence. I suggest you must know the orginazation that is hiring you and make certain they have sufficent business to retain you . Please remember getting a job back home is not easy once you are beyond 40-God bless

If you are getting 14 lacs Indian Rupees per annum then 16.5k per month (approx 26 lacs per annum) is not really attractive as you will be spending a major part on accommodation.

1.) In Qatar Oil and Gas Companies Goverment & Private ones Pay like 30K + Free House or Housing Allowances minimum QR 5,500 + Free Medical to you and Family + Free Education for your childrens till 12th Grade American/ British Cirriculam + Early Family Ticket for the Whole Family.

2.) Private Companies Pay like 15K+ Free Accomodation or housing Allowances minimum Qr: 5,500K+, + Car or Transport Allowances minimum Qr 2,000+ Free Midical only to you + Yearly Ticket only for the Employee + Some Benifits.

My Advice Look your Current financial Situation & Take the Step.
