Hi there, am thinking of renting a studio in ezdan hotel tower for a few months.

Can anyone let me know what it is like there.

I am fussed about luxury or nothing flash, just simple easy to live in and it is close to where i will work

I have been renting a 1 bedroom apartment in Ezdan Tower 4 for a month. It is costing 15000QR for the month. The flat is the most depressing accommodation I have ever had. The finish is very cheap and not good, the kitchen utensils are poor quality. Yes it has a washing machine, but it took 3 days to get pots, dishes, and all of that required a battle with the receptionists - even though they were part of package. They are very quick to take your money and charge you but VERY slow at fixing things. The shower head had to be replaced. The good thing is it is 10-15 mins to walk to city mall and to Al Corniche. There is so little choice in Doha for a 1 bedroom or single person accommodation that you may have no choice. In addition they are putting the rents up and wont publish the new prices for January yet, so you are likely to be trapped! I feel sorry for the receptionists and cleaners because they are the ones faced with guests frustrations - the management team hide behind their offices and wont even talk to you on the phone. If you can set your expectations not to expect much then fine. The gym is good but can get very busy in the evening after work. The outdoor pool is large, but very cold, but they do serve decent food at the pool side. Good luck.

I lived in a one bedroom there for about a month and couldn't WAIT to leave - they really do suck. Bad rooms, frequently smelly, thin walls and loud neighbours, and management that is almost totally incompetent. I'd avoid the Ezdan like a really bad rash! Try finding another short-term place, there is a company called Homes 2 Rent here in Doha that specializes in that...

Good luck.

I have been there for 5 months I have a studio with a kitchen it is okay but there are some problems

If you can get one with a kitchen it has a washing machine and stove so you are able to keep away from the extra charges such as laundry and the resturaunt which is pretty expensive
