Employment Issues / Release & NOC

Dear QLs,

I need your valuable comments regarding employment issues / Release & NOC.

I am working with my sponsor from last 4 years. My salary is QR. 3,000/-. I got chance of QR.9,000, but my sponsor refused & I continued to work with them till now.

Now again I have an offer of QR.13,000 + other benefits. I am in doubt that my sponsor will give release. So arising an application in labour dept r NHRC can help full? Or what I can do in this regard.

Thank you.

Hi,

If your employer is prompt and not making any default on your salary or any other benefits as per the contract agreement, You cannot go to labour court or NHRC since the authorities cannot interfere into your case.

NOC is not the right of the employee even if you have joined to a company by obtaining NOC from another company.

There is only way to obtain an NOC is to keep good relationship with the employer and the employer is ready to leave you ...

From your inputs I understand that you are highly underpaid as the difference between the new offer and the present salary is very high.

So better leave the job. Go to any other GCC work for 2 years and come back

All the best!!!

I believe you have to work for a minimum of two years with the company before you are eligible to transfer within companies.

Even though you worked with them for 4 years ,Your present company that you work for still holds the right to deny NOC & RELEASE.So You can try asking the labor department but i feel you will still get the same answer. If you quit your job and go back, you will still have a ban of 2 years before you can come work in Qatar so without the NOC & RELEASE you have to keep working for them.
