Yesterday I came in to court located al-saad branch,to get a case clearance but I've keep wondering why most of staff/personnel in court can't speak English? And worst thing is one personnel told me he speak in arabic "If don't speak in arabic go out or leave out from my office" because i'm talking to him english because i don't know to speak arabic....Isn't right to talk to me that way???

This is an ARAB country. I have been to court 30+ times here (as an advocate for another) It would be impossible for them to accomodate all the different languages of expats living here. No other country would do that either. They shouldn't have to. Government Agencies conduct business in the language of their country. Hire yourself an interpreter or a lawyer. They are actually not very expensive.

Response continued

...It is expected of you since you refused to learn thier language or it is late for you to do so that you should accompany an interpreter with you and you should even pay him for that...

Rember you are here to work and get your daily breads, don't just feel like saying something that may look like an embarrasment or just be putting blames on your daily bread providers - after Almighty ALLAH - and you call it challenges, we don't call such things challenges.

This is just an advice from a free minded friend and I want you feel free to accept or reject since you are free to do so.

Thanks alot & best regards...

Cheers.....

Let us be realistics guys, are you saying now that these people should neglect their Arabic Mother tongue totally and be speaking English throughout? common it is not done, we linguists and educationist belief that Language is one of the major Identity Card for any nation or culture; if it is lost that nation or culture will nearly die.

What else do you want them do again? If their not civilized, you are not also civilized why don't you go and learn their language? instead of critizing them always...

If it is late for you now to learn Arabic, since you can do without Arabic, it is also late for some of them who are over 50's to start afresh now and be learning English, since their jobs do not mandate that on them.

this is qatar..an arab country...this is how the system goes here in the middle east..you can't expect an arab staff to know english language especially if it matters police/legal cases.. best solution is to go there with an interpreter...
