MashaAllah Doha-Chap2022,

Say Alhamdulillah on whatever you have blessed, but it's also a fact that some people are getting less than your house rent here.

about the Driving license you don't need to transfer it, you can easily use your Saudi Driving license in all the gulf countries.

5.5K QR was a decent salary 10 years ago here in Qatar.

I dont think you can save, let alone have fun with that amount now.

You really need to check with your company about where they will accommodate you and how. Is it easy to transfer Saudi license to local license?

What's the position being offered for your salary that they are offering you a car?

As you mentioned, you have housing, car and food allowance + 4.5K and you are alone, then in my opinion you'll manage to save 3.5K easily.

You can make a rough estimate better by what you were getting in KSA with your offered one, as the both places are alike in some manner.

since you have accommodation covered, your only expenses here is gonna be for food/clothes/transportation/entertainment.

With minimum expenditure you can expect to save max 2.5k from ur salary. Again thats entirely depends on how you live here.

Do a search on ql on the different salaries thats usually offered.

Your housing will be shared accommodation, maybe 3 or 6 per room, if lucky, less.

You can't get your family here.

Fun........what do you mean by fun?
