Good day every body

i would like to ask about the process of buying a car in Doha ? .. for ex in my country i go to the show room choose a car and the bank buy it for me and i pay the installments to the bank monthly ..
in this case the car belongs to the bank untill i finish all the installments ..

is this applicable in Doha too ?? or there are differencies ?

and what if i want to buy used car ? does the bank go for this too ? i mean paying for the owner and i pay installments to the bank ?

too much questions i know but i am sure i can find answers :)

unless you go through First Finance or Al Jazeera Finance ... those are financial institutions and not banks, so there is no downpayment. just recently i was in Mitsubishi and they have this offer. Check them on Salwa Road, after decoration roundabout.

thanx Genadi minchev for the info.

and yes Stealth i already knew about the 20% cash of the car amount to be paid in advance.

you will have to cough up 20% of the cars cost to the bank first.

The process is more or less the same here. For used car you can get a loan if the car is not older then 3 years (2008 model). However each bank has different requirements and you should go and ask in the showroom or at the bank. Good luck!
