Is anyone interested in learning more about Project and Construction Management
I used to run a course in Australia for people who were in the construction industry and wanted to progress into project management.
I did it at no charge as I really believe in passing knowledge and experience on.
So I thought I would find out if there was any interest within QL members, and if there is set up a group who want to expand their knowledge.
I can tailor the course to suit what people need. We can specialise in several areas: estimating and tendering; project set up; construction mamangement; contract administration; cost forecasting; programme; etc
I am a senior project manager on a large project hee in Qatar and started out in life as a quantity surveyor and then progressing to project management, I have worked on many different types of projects in many different countries. I have been fortunate to aquire skills in Primavera, Excel, Project etc etc.
However, I would like to see the response to this as I said above it as what I enjoy but also, being absolutely honest, because Doha is so boring in the evenings, it would be something I would look forward to and hopefully others might get some benefit.
If I get a decent response I would be able to accomodate a group of people for say six weeks one evening per week at my head office. But I really am flexible and depending on the response I can adjust to suit those interested
