That is a good offer, and reasonable, it will just go increase your salary once you have been extended. this is also what I have experienced at http://sifagroup.com.au/web-services-australia/web-design-and-development/ in Australia.

That is not bad offer, imagine you will just take care of your food, and the rest, they shoulder it... It is so hard to find some offers like that specially on just an intermediate years of design expertise. After all, they will increase your salary whenever they see your performance is doing good. Some custom website design jobs do the same procedure but they will just provide more benefits once you passes the provisional period.

I advise you not to sign a contract on 2500 Qrs. and transfer your sponsorship on this company... You will never get any increase after your sponsorship is transferred.

2500 Qrs. is not money in Qatar, this will make you only survive as a labor but not as a creative guy...

The minimum salary you should ask for is 5000 Qrs. (FOR THIS TYPE OF JOB) anything less than that, i highly suggest staying in your country...

if you can negotiate for a higher offer much better..because with that offer you will only have small savings if there will be..

if you want to know if you can survive with that, you can

but you can only send small money back home.:)

and also, it all depends on your lifestyle when you arrive here later.

what does he mean by performance? coz there is nothing to measure it? he has to clarify about what he is expecting..... coz most of the time, this salary increase never happens..... this happened to me also... the salary increase which i was promissed after 3 months, i got it after more than 16 months.....

so clarify it before itself or tell him to compelsorily increase the salary after 3 months and if at all he says that your performance is not good then ask him to send you back.....

nd if ur satisfied with 2000 for 2years then nothing to worry.....

You will survived but with a small savings. Promises are made to be broken. Not bad for a newbie but too bad for a seasoned GD.

most of the time, the salary-increase- after-several months doesn't usually happen.
