Oh yeah sure/ Its enough for a windbeaten shack out in Dukhan. Enjoy the commute into Doha.

Apparently if you're lucky and have the right contacts, 12,000 is enough.  Unfortunately, if you're new, expect to pay 14,000 upwards.

Best for you to do is buy an apartment at the Pearl or Lagoon plaza and place yourself in a position to not fall prey to landlords and realty agents here. If you do not personally know an agent, you will simply get taken to the cleaners.

Thx for your very much need info, I am not there yet. I am trying to get my buddet togeather before I arrvive. I will proably spend 2 to 3 months there alone before I bring my family out. That way I can take my time when I look.

My upmost priority Is find a place that is safe, comforable and secure. I was just hoping i didn't have to pay 20qr to do so. I guess I will have to wait till I get there so I can see for myself.

thx

i doubt if you can find ANY villa for this price... maybe in Wakra or Al Khor only.. or.. you might come across such villa, you know, just by the very lucky chance... keep looking...who knows...but generally speaking, i would say: NO, you cannot.
