Job Description:
As Electrical Project Engineer:
Site Installation:
v Responsible for LV System like Lighting, Street Lighting, Powers, HVAC Power, Earthing & Lighting Protection, Central Battery System, Dali System, Transformers, Generators, MCC Panels, MDBS, SMDBS, DB’s, Emergency Power off, Power Distribution Units, Static Transfer Switch, Control Panels, Elevator (LV&ELV), Frequency Converters, Cable Tray, Cable Trucking, Cable Pulling etc.
v Responsible for ELV System Like: Fire Alarm, Public Address & General Alarm, BMS, Structural Cabling, , CCTV, FM 200, Audio Visual System, Etc.
v To provide technical support to Team of Electrical Site & QC Engineers reporting to me.
v Assuring that the construction of all electrical systems are as per the project documentation and as per international and local building codes and requirements
v Assuring that the duration of construction of all electrical systems is within the approved project baseline.
v Coordinating with Testing & Commissioning Team.
v To attend Site, Walk with Consultant, Management & Subcontractors.
v Raising Material Orders & Following until it is delivered on the site & Raising Material Inspections (MRI) once the Material is received.
Engineering Works:
v Prepare/Review/Submit (MS) Material Transmittal Submittals, Inspection Test Plans, Method Statements and Shop Drawings for all the Electrical Systems.
v Preparation/Review/Submit of LV Shop Drawings, Street Lighting, ELV Shop Drawings, and Single line Diagrams, Riser Diagrams, Cause & Effect Matrix, RFI’s, and Variations Etc.
v Prepare/Review/Submit of Electrical Load List, Electrical Equipment Lists, Material Lists.
v To perform Power System Analysis (Single Line) in ETAP Software & Lux Calculation in DIALUX Software.
v Prepare/Review/Reply of Project Specifications & Site Instruction Report.
v Raising RFI’s (Inspections).
v Attend Factory Acceptante Test of Electrical Panels (final DB, SMDB, MCC and LV Switchers).
v Coordinating with Suppliers for Necessary Documents for Material Approvals.
v Coordinating with System Specialist for Shop Drawing preparation and submission.
v Calculations of Transformers, Voltage Drop Calculation, Cable Tray & Trunk sizes, DB Calculations, Earthing Calculations, Fire Alarm Battery calculation (with System Specialist Support) etc.
v Preparation of As-Built Drawings for Electrical Low Voltage & Medium Voltage & Low Current Systems.
v To follow up with System Specialist to prepare & submit As-Built Drawings for Electrical Systems.
v To Attend coordination meetings with Consultant, Management, Sub Contractors etc.
Management Works:
v To attend weekly/Monthly Kick off Project Meetings, Preparation & Submission of Weekly/Monthly Site Progress Report.
v Preparation & Submission of Monthly Invoice or Bill of Quantity (BOQ) for the approved work.
v Following Milestone and making necessary plans and actions to achieve it in order to meet the dead line of the project.
v Getting Material Transmittals Submittals Approved from Code B to Code A.
v Proper Handing Over of the Project.
HSE Works:
v Following Safety Rules & Regulations to avoid LTE (lost time injury or Fidelity) and achieve Safe Man Hours (LTI Free).
v Participating in Toolbox Meeting, Fire Drill & Other Safety Tour Walks on Site & office Meeting.
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT)
v To Prepare/Review/Submit (MAF) Material Transmittal Submittals, Prequalification’s, Inspection Test Plans& Method Statements for all the Electrical Systems.
v Perform daily Inspections and checking all quality related procedures at site. Inspections Includes Installation of Switch Gears, DBs, MCC Panels, Cable Pulling,
v Attend Factory Acceptance Test of Electrical Panels which includes the final DB, SMDB, MCC and LV Switchgear.
v Attend coordination and construction meetings.
v Attend Technical & Safety Site Walks with Top Management.
v To support technically and mentor the QC Inspectors for site related activities.
v Coordinating with Independent Checking Engineer (ICE) & Subcontractors construction team for Inspections.
v Preparing ITR’s, Quality Reports, Quality Alerts, Picture Reports, Weekly & Monthly Site Progress Reports, and Graphical Monitoring Presentation for all Electrical Systems and handing over to QA Engineer regularly.
v Responsible for closure of Open ITR’s, NCR’s & Quality Alert.
v Prepare/Submit Quality Record Package (QRP) for all Electrical Systems.
v Assisting Testing & Commissioning Team for Electrical Systems.
